These HEAT ABSORBING FILTERS are manufactured from genuine HOYA material from the HA range, offering increased Infrared ( IR ) blocking due to the addition of IR block coatings.
Heat absorbing HOYA glass filters are used as heat absorption filters. These filters work by absorbing the infrared ( IR ) region and allowing the heat to dissipate into the air. The filters listed below have been toughened/tempered to give increased resistance to mechanical and thermal shock reducing the risk of breakage.
